Jacob McCoy
A U.S. Navy Veteran and recent graduate of UC San Diego's Cognitive Science - Design and Interaction program, I approach UI/UX with a systems oriented mindset and attempt to combine structure with empathy to create designs that make sense and feel good to use.
My background gives me a unique perspective on problem-solving, an ability to collaborate across disciplines, and a desire to communicate ideas in a way that everyone can understand. Whether I'm conducting usability tests, building wireframes and prototypes, or interviewing users, I'm driven by a desire to make things as accessible as possible for the widest audience possible.
I want the world to be easier to live and work in for everyone, something I picked up while travelling the world and meeting people from different walks of life.
